About Alex Fitzgerald

Alex is JLF Group’s Director of Development, leading the company’s residential development portfolio and strategic growth initiatives.

Since joining JLF in 2012, Alex has held a number of roles across the business. Notably between 2016 and 2023, she negotiated the acquisition of more than 2,000 residential lots across Melbourne and led JLF’s expansion into South Australia, establishing Adelaide as a key market for the Group. Today, she oversees the delivery of 300+ residential lots annually.

Outside JLF, Alex is a Director of the Magic Moments Foundation, where she also leads the Foundation’s national operations. She also heads the Melbourne Basket Brigade, growing the charity’s annual Christmas program fourfold to now provide food and gifts to around 3,000 Melbourne families each year.

Alex previously served 5 years as Chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Melbourne and on ULI Australia’s National Executive Committee, contributing to real estate industry priorities including housing attainability and sustainability.
