My name is Nick Stephens, and at Custodian, I oversee the relationship team and the strategies we deliver to our clients. My role is all about ensuring that our clients receive the best possible guidance and support as they work towards their financial goals.

Before joining Custodian, my career has been deeply rooted in property investment, much like John Fitzgerald. I hold a real estate licence and have completed training in general advice and mortgage brokerage. Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of Australians, helping them build their financial futures.

I’ve been with Custodian for 6 years, starting as the Marketing Director and transitioning to the Client Strategy Director role in 2023. During my time here, I’ve seen the impact of our work firsthand, which has been incredibly rewarding.

My wife and I own our own home and have two investment properties, which we’re proud of. Our two boys, aged 3 and a newborn, keep us busy, and when we’re not chasing them around, I’m immersed in never-ending DIY and landscaping projects.

What makes my job truly fulfilling is watching our clients evolve from feeling nervous to becoming confident and seeing them reap the rewards of their hard work. Their inspiring stories and the way their strategies transform their lives, allowing them to support friends and family financially, continually reinforce why I love what I do.
