‘Win Your Deposit’ – Referral Competition 2026 

Referral Competition – Terms & Conditions  

By participating in this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:  

  

Promoter  

The Promoter is JLF Corporation Pty Ltd ACN 010 231 222 trading as Custodian of 832 Southport-Nerang Rd, Nerang QLD 4211.   

  

Eligibility  

Entry is open to: 

  • All Australian residents, excluding residents of South Australia, aged 18 years or over who refers a person to the Promoter; and 
  • Individuals who are not employees, directors, contractors, or immediate family members of the Promoter or associated agencies. 
  • A referrer must be an individual and not a company or organisation.   
  • Referees must not be existing clients of the Promoter or have been previously referred to the Promoter by another person.   
  • If the referee has already been referred by another person prior to your referral, you will not be eligible for the reward or entry.    

 

Program Period  

The Program begins on 12 March 2026 and continues until 4 November 2026.  

Referrals and property settlements must occur within the Competition Period unless otherwise stated. 

 

How to enter 

To enter the promotion: 

  1. An eligible participant must refer a new client to the Promoter during the Competition Period. 
  1. The referred client must: 
  • be a genuine new client not previously known to or engaged by the Promoter; 
  • enter into a property purchase arrangement through the Promoter; and 
  • complete settlement of the property during the Competition Period. 

Upon successful settlement: 

  • The referrer will receive: 
  • a $3,000 AUD cash reward; and 
  • one (1) automatic entry into the major prize draw described below. 

Each qualifying settlement equals one entry. Multiple referrals may result in multiple entries. 

 

Referral Reward  

  • The Referrer will receive a reward of $3,000 if the referee purchases and settles a property through Custodian.  
  • Rewards are payable only upon settlement of the Referee’s property.  
  • The purchase and settlement process may take up to three months or longer.  
  • The reward will be deposited into the bank account nominated by the referrer. Following settlement of the Referee’s property, the Referrer will be contacted to provide bank details for payment of the reward.   
  • The Referrer will receive one entry into the ‘Win Your Deposit’ prize draw for each referee that purchase and settles a property through Custodian during the competition period. 

 

‘Win Your Deposit’ – Major Prize Draw: $60,000 Deposit Contribution 

One (1) winner will receive: 

  • $60,000 AUD to be applied towards the deposit of an investment property purchased through the Promoter (“Major Prize”). 

Prize Conditions: 

The Major Prize: 

  • Must be used within 12 months of the draw date; 
  • Must be applied solely toward the deposit of a property purchased through the Promoter; 
  • Is not redeemable for cash in whole or part; 
  • Expires if not used within 12 months of the draw date; and 
  • Cannot be exchanged for another benefit or transferred expect as set out below. 

Transfer of Prize 

If the winner cannot use the Major Prize: 

  • The winner may nominate one (1) friend or family member to use the prize; 
  • The prize must still be used within the original 12-month period from the draw date; 
  • The nominated person must: 
  • Satisfy the Promoter’s eligibility requirements; and 
  • Purchase and settle on a property through the Promoter within that timeframe. 

No further transfers are permitted. 

 

Draw Details

  • The draw will take place via random draw picker at the Promoter’s head office Custodian House, 832 Southport-Nerang Rd, Nerang, Queensland, 4211 on  9 November 2026 at Midday. 
  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period. 
  • The winner will be notified within 2 business days by phone and/or email and published on the Promoter’s website and in accordance with any other regulatory requirements. 
  • The prize must be used within a 12-month period.  If the winner is unable to use the prize they may transfer to a friend or family member towards the purchase of a Custodian property. 
  • The prize is non-transferrable for cash. 

Unclaimed Prize 

  • If the Major Prize is not claimed within the required timeframe there will be a re-draw on via random draw picker at the Promoter’s head office Custodian House, 832 Southport-Nerang Rd, Nerang, Queensland, 4211 on 11 December 2026 at Midday. 

 

Privacy & Confidentiality  

Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and may be used for promotional or marketing purposes related to this campaign, and administering this competition.  The Promoter will not share the progress or any other information regarding the progress of a Referee’s property transaction with the exception of notifying the Referrer following settlement.  

 

Permits and Regulatory Compliance 

This promotion is intended to comply with Australian trade promotion lottery laws. 
Where required, relevant state or territory permits have been obtained: 

  • ACT Gambling & Racing Commission: TP 26/00444 
  • NSW Community Gaming Regulation 2020: TP/04925 – NTP/16121.

General  

This offer is valid for a limited time only.  

  • Custodian may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion at any time without prior notice.    
  • This Program is offered in good faith and is not to give rise to any legal dispute and is binding in honour only. In the event of a dispute between the Promoter and a winner or an entrant, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute or claim arising out of or in relation to the Promotion through negotiations between the parties to settle the relevant dispute.  If the dispute cannot be settled within 14 days from the date either party notifies the other of the dispute, a mediator will be appointed by the President of the Law Society of Queensland and the parties must mediate the dispute with the mediator appointed and with a genuine commitment to participate. 
  •   Acceptance of prize indemnifies the Promoter, its employees and agents of any responsibility.  
  • By participating in this Program, the referee gives permission for their contact details to be shared with Custodian.  
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and eligibility. 
  • The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the promotion or breaches these Terms. 
  • If the promotion cannot run as planned due to events beyond reasonable control, the Promoter may modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion, subject to regulatory approval where required. 
  • The Promoter’s decision is final and binding, except where prohibited by law. 

 

Liability  

The Promoter and its respective related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Program, the promotion of this Program or the use of the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
